If you spend much time on social media (especially on X), you know that there is a certain kind of poster who can’t get enough of trying to stir the pot. This is particularly the case when it has to do with Trump or with American foreign policy in the Middle East. The latter is somewhat understandable since (let’s face it) the USA does tend to do some pretty stupid things in that area as we just saw. Nevertheless, after a while, one gets the sense that the constant drumbeat of Panican negativity doesn’t arise from a constructive concern about mistakes that may or may not be being made, but rather from a sort of vicarious sense of satisfaction that harm to the USA is (at least in their minds) being done to this country. They don’t talk about us bombing Iran at the behest of Israel because they’re afraid it will hurt Trump’s credibility with his base or get us entangled in yet another fruitless, endless sandbox war, but because they’re hoping it will.
This type of commentator, more generally, takes this same sort of approach towards the western world overall. They get excited at the prospect of demographic replacement in Europe and the Anglosphere. They’re eagerly anticipating economic and social collapse. They seem like they hope that riots in LA and Paris continue to get worse. Many of them (e.g. Tinkzorg and Pedro Gonzalez, to name a couple) floated around the margins of the Dissident Right for years before making decisive breaks that tended to coincide with the election of Donald Trump and his follow through on promises such as deportations and tariffs. Since then, they’ve been absolutely sure that tariffs were going to collapse the US supply chain and drive us to double digit inflation while breathlessly reminding us that White people will go extinct in 30 years.
The common denominator among a LOT of these folks is that they, themselves, are not of native western stock. Instead, they’re black or brown “guests” who have brought with them a lot of latent third-worldist sympathies. So in this sense, when they get excited about the prospect of harm coming to our countries, it’s merely because they’re siding with their own people in an entirely understandable, tribalistic way. Deportations are good for Americans but bad for Pedro’s people. And so forth. Ultimately, the hope among them and their sympathisers is the end of the West, and this is driven by the same civilisational envy that pushes the zeal for global south replacement of Whites in their own countries. Ultimately, that’s the agenda for this in many circles, and the foreign policy/economics stuff is just viewed as accelerants to be thrown on the fire to make this collapse happen sooner rather than later. It’s like this particular subset of Panicans are trying to wishcast this stuff into reality so they can get their revenge on the West for colonialism or whatever.
Now, don’t get me wrong. I am fully cognizant that collapse is coming and there’s no way to really avoid it. But the thing to understand is that because of globalisation, this coming collapse is going to be worldwide. It isn’t just going to be the West who faces decentralisation and despair - China, India, and the Third World are going to have to deal with it as well. Further, the fact THAT collapse is coming doesn’t necessarily say anything about what is particularly going to happen during that collapse. There may be some broad generalities to look for, but the specifics always vary with every cycle in history. So what the third-worldists and their followers hope will happen may not end up working out to their advantage. Besides, it’s not like this is the first collapse that the Western world has faced. Remember, this stuff happens roughly every 250-300 years. The Ottomans couldn’t successfully capitalise on Europe’s collapse phase during the 17th century (partly because they were also in collapse), and today’s third world and Muslim hoards probably won’t be able to in this cycle, as much as they’d like to.
One fundamental error that people make when discussing the future of demographic change (as well as collapse in general) - and this is something that applies to both sides, both those who want it and those who warn against it - is to assume linearity. They expect that the current trends will continue as they are indefinitely. Yet, this is not at all a safe assumption to make when you’re discussing things like demographic-structural cycles and human social systems, which are inherently chaotic/complex. These systems are driven by non-linear feedback responses and a sensitive dependence on “initial” (with respect to decisive changes made at certain points) conditions.
What does this mean? It means that just because Whites are on track now to becoming a minority in the UK by 2060, this won’t necessarily stay this way invariably. It means that it’s not at all assured that the USA will be swamped by Latin American illegals or that Mexico gets to take back California. What it means is that for those who are willing to make them, certain…robust…changes can be made that will drastically alter the current trends in ways that are broadly predictable in the “big picture” sense, even while being particularly unpredictable on a more personal and local scale. Further, as demographic friction increases, these robust changes are almost assuredly going to happen, and they will be to the detriment of the third worlders and their supporters. It’ll be extremely ugly and destructive, but it is certainly within the power and abilities of Westerners to prevent their own demise.
Of course, I can already see the push back from third worldists and other anti-Americans. “Hurr durr, zee beeeeg fat Amuuuuuricans zhey von’t do anyting but eat zer cheeeeeezborgeeerz!”
Yeah, don’t bet on that at all. Most civil wars and other types of civil strife usually involve only 3-10% of the total relevant populations. Even Europe and the USA can find enough non-obese natives with the capacity for organised violence to be able to make a serious effort at rolling up their uninvited “migrant” populations. And trust me when I say this - there are plenty of dudes out there who are already ready and willing to do this.
Keep in mind that the USA, especially, has a large population of military veterans who have seen actual combat, much of it within insurgency-type situations. We also have millions of additional folks who are proficient with firearms and who routinely practice shooting at man-sized targets and drone-like objects for months out of every year. The progressive cope that gun owners just have their guns for show is precisely that - cope.
And the only thing that is really restraining these people from moving forward is their lingering respect for the rule of law and our legal/political forms. However, the rule of law and the legitimacy of our legal and political forms are what the internationalist Left and their black/brown golems have been assiduously working to erode. These fundamentals of the “open access society” exist just as much to protect the minorities who have been exploiting and misusing them as they (in theory) do the majorities in our “free, democratic” countries. But don’t expect people to go along with that exploitation forever. Once respect for these “norms” declines to a critical point, people will become a lot less docile than The Powers That Be are used to expecting from them. When that happens, bad things can quickly start to happen to the dyscivilisational elements within the places where this takes place.
A lot of ink has been spilled about varying racial propensities for violence. And it IS true that blacks and browns, with relatively lower IQs, lower impulse control, and high time preferences on average, are more prone to “random-ish” violence. They’ll be the ones you see harassing strangers on a subway or crashing out at a routine traffic stop, turning a simple ticket into a multi-year jail sentence. However, Whites are way, way better at organised violence, which is why we conquered the world and still swing well above our relative population weight class.
For those who think the Chechens are bad dudes, keep in mind that America has its own mountain folk in the Scots-Irish, historically used for centuries to keep savages in line, a mantle which they can take up once again. Indeed, I strongly suspect that there’s a reason why The Powers That Be have spent so much time and effort funneling fentanyl and other drugs into Appalachia and other Scots-Irish areas, which is to keep these populations addled and docile lest they start to get out of hand once again. But even the non-Scots-Irish White people are certainly capable of self-organisation on short notice. This is not something that the global south masses being used to flood our countries will be able to match.
I couldn’t have said it better myself, Ace.
So what it boils down to is this: The third worldists and their cheerleaders are setting a lot of people up for a fall by telling them that the West is easy pickings and all they need to do is show up. As it turns out, they’re going to need these military-aged males they’ve been importing into our countries because once our stock of patience and misplaced goodwill does reach an end, things will get ugly very quickly. The old saw that diversity + proximity = war will be in full effect and made all the worse by the long history of presumptuousness exhibited by these third world populations. Third worldists (as well as other, more well-intentioned folks) can talk about birthrates and TFR all they want, but the mechanics of population replacement versus the lack thereof are probably going to involve shorter term dependence and acute sensitivity to “initial conditions” than will be relevant on a generational timeframe. So these folks need to be very careful what they wish for because they might just get it.
I think we agree. Those who fantasize about the fall of Western Civilization are eating dream cakes. They won't be living in rich people's houses growing organic carrots and hosting orgies. They'll be starving and dying by the boatload.
I'd just like to note that, as a 74 year old America first white nationalist, I'm still good for the rifleman's quarter mile (and a good bit beyond that, actually). Make of that what you will.
