After decades of man-hating feminism, many men have walked away from women, dating, and marriage. They find a place in life as MGTOWs, or passport bros that go the Phillipines or South America to find women that have not been brainwashed to be feminists. Men are tired of being told what to do, and what to think, by tradcons and feminists alike, and are now living life on their own terms.
True, those ones are smarter than the ones who just want to recluse-maxx. But I am wondering to what degree those foreign women are only conservative because they're poor. Usually immigrants get indoctrinated into wokeness very easily. I am wondering how many of these disaffected men live in urban areas?
That’s a good question. Many of the Filipinas turn out to be gold diggers. I watch some of the Filipinas doing Youtube videos, and they always call Americans there “foreigners”. The one mistake some men make is bringing them back to the West, where they soon become feminists.
>Much of this pseudo-masculinity can be found represented and promoted by the “pick up artist” community, and the “manosphere” in general. Real men don’t hold down jobs or support families, they travel the world fornicating with as many women as possible. Real men don’t exercise self-control, they get drunk and fight, gamble, or whore around.
This is not the manosphere. Manosphere writers were not opposed to relationships and children, and in fact celebrated them. They taught men to date, which leads to relationships and marriage.
They were opposed to feminism. They were also opposed to the anti-sex people, who are usually fat middle-aged men and women who don't get sex themselves and therefore write about how bad it is for young people to get it. (Nice recruitment for the Right, guys!) In short, they wrote about the real world, where young men and women date. I know, horror! Terrible!
They noted that many young men are of good quality but today's dating culture doesn't recognize that quality, so they needed some tips on how to navigate that. In the past you'd be paired up with a girl in your village who is a suitable prospect for a young craftsman apprentice or whatever you were, but that doesn't happen today. Telling a woman at the college gettogether that you are studying hard doesn't work. So young men need to know what does work.
"But that's sinful!" Young women do have sex with men in their twenties, I know, shocking. The fact is, they mostly have sex with a few upper percent of men, perhaps around twenty percent. Later the settle for a less attractive man. So while men and women have the same number of average sex partners, they do not have the same MEAN - for men the mean is far lower as a few men raise the average, thanks to the women going to them. The oh-so-evil manosphere would simply show those less hot-on-the-dance-floor men how to get the date with a girl before she goes to those upper twenty percent. Spread the wealth around a little.
That should PLEASE the prudes, shouldn't it? Lead young women away from sleeping with the same most-desirable men? But of course, anyone writing about having sex with a young attractive person is something the middle-aged prude must oppose.
>They teach that the spiritual temperature of the home is determined by the happiness of the wife. If a husband isn’t making his wife happy, then he’s obviously not spiritual, he’s failing in his leadership of the home. This all derives from the unscriptural teaching that women “sanctify” men, rather than the husband leading his wife, even if she doesn’t understand or is unhappy about the direction he goes.
I've always hated the "happy wife, happy life!" chuckling little joke. "The words rhyme in English, so it must be true!" If they didn't rhyme you'd be out of luck.
The Song of Roland is one of the first novels in existence. It is about the knight Roland as he fought against the Moors in the king's army. In this novel it is noted that "a knight should not do everything his lady asks of him. At first she will enjoy it, but later she will despise him for it."
It's been... 7 years now since this article was written? Wow, for sure time flies by. I think our side has gained a lot of traction since. I also think that the media was much worse on this problem back then. Now, I believe we're starting to slowly win back masculinity piece by piece.
Men should be strong. Women should choose strong (and decent) men. The men and women in these relationships should have children. That's 50% of life, right there.
Thank you for writing this. I agree with most of what you've written here. I wholeheartedly agree with the overall idea that men should be men as God intended. I would add that not taking responsibility for one's mistakes is not a feminine trait but a character trait and a character flaw. Everyone--regardless of sex--should take responsibility for one's own actions. To avoid responsibility for one's mistakes is often rooted in the deadly sin of pride. It takes humility to acknowledge one's mistakes and apologise and make amends. Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, was and is Holy and so was and never will be wrong, but He showed us what true humility looks like by taking on human form, though He was and IS God and by dying on a crude cross for us. He showed us true humility in many other ways, but as John said, they are too many to record here. In Christ's Love
While reading this I was reminded of Brent Henderson's fantastic book entitled "The Roar Within- Unleashing the Powerful Truth of Who You Really Are". Even at the age of 70 I was enamored by his assessment of males failing in our society as men, much due to the feminization of the church body. I wrote a book review of it here: https://www.courageouslion.us/p/the-roar-within When I'm in a fellowship, I find it an issue when only woman are running the music and men are left out. I feel that is a position that should be dominated by men and yet even most hymns are written in female keys. I am a vocalist that has a very masculine presentation of songs that I do. Here is an example: "Since I Met Him" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IfURSLhkNXY And yes, the best thing for society is for men to be MEN and not boot lickers.

And those men will die out because they can't reproduce.
The ones that go to the Phillipines may find a woman to have children with.

Plus, some people would complain about the race-mixing.

Only toxic feminists refer to “toxic masculinity”. Before man-hating feminists rolled around, dysfunctional people of BOTH sexes were called “jerks”.

Excellent essay , all true , this liberal world we live in does not promote a life worth truly living
