Great post, especially the last paragraph. I’d like to add to the list —

(1) Take control of your food supply. Buy meat from local ranchers. Start a vegetable garden. Get some chickens.

(2) Take control of your water supply. If you are on city water, prepare a backup.

(3) Prepare for electrical grid disruptions.

(4) Kill social media and Amazon.

(5) Use cash whenever possible.

Like you said, we will have to forge our own destinies. Nobody is coming to save us.

Any 'salvation' on offer is the kind nobody needs. I'd say avoidance of social media and the digital life (dematerialised experience) is the most important thing. Once people disconnect their instinctive need for connection, experience, wellbeing kicks in and generates receptivity to pro-social forces of all kinds.

There are a thousand paths to wellbeing. Starting a business, learning a trade, picking up a useful skill, participating in organised religion, immersion in family life, creating (rather than consuming) culture such as music or joining a reading group or sporting activity. Any alternative to life on the digital drip helps rob the system of the passivity and enervation that it needs to triumph. Capacity (either individual or collective) is toxic for a system that thrives on cultivating dysfunction and disability on a mass scale.

Re cash...if at all possible people should consider accumulating a small emergency store of monetary silver or gold (coins or bullion). Not a lot, just a bit. Several states (Texas and Utah) have established bullion banks and several others have passed legislation affirming the use of monetary precious metals as mediums of exchange for the purpose of commercial settlement. This is IMHO a sign that the serious insiders are quietly but surely starting to head for the door.

I've been waiting for years to hear somebody say that.

Because Americans dislike evidence and logic and prefer traditional loyalties, and goodies and baddies scenarios, the globalists, through their media boss, Rupert Murdoch, have presented the reds versus blues line and most in the US have bought it. But the truth is there is no red or blue and all politicians have been coopted to the globalist agenda for decades. The duopoly is a single entity and has been since around 1946. Some would say 1880.

Actually, this is trrue in every western nation, The political party duopoly is a sop, an illusion, which enables the true driver of politics, the media, to economically manipulate a mere handful of constituents... the swinging voter.

Nice racket.

Well done eyes-wide-open Theophilus. Now that the world is warned... well two of us... lets march on to reach the other 8 billion. Piece of piss mate.

To be fair, most ordinary people have far better things to do than fixate on the ideas and behaviours of the sociopaths and grifters of the political system. And the goodies and baddies scenario does have an undeniable degree of plausibility - there are degrees of awfulness at work and people can and should be forgiven for preferring the lesser evil. It takes a lot of life experience and serious attention to unpack what the system is about and how it works.

IMO Murdoch is a bit player. A useful colonial interloper who probably got recruited as an asset by the IC as an undergrad at Oxford who went on to Americanise the UK. He has made himself useful but could be replaced in a heartbeat should he decline to follow orders.

Oh Phillip, you are so so wrong. Rupert sat in the helicopter sipping champagne with Areil Sharon as their Christian Lebonese militia machinegunned 3500 Palestinian old people, women and children. In 1973, when Zbigniew Brzezinski had completed the Trilateral Commission, David Rockefeller invited him to become an American citizen and assume control of the Zionst tax minmisation activities, and to take over their media empire.

David made it clear that his appointed successor as controller of the global investment banker alliance was Rupert, a position which he duly assumed upon David's death in March 2017. Perhaps this weenie update might teach you not to take your eye off the ball, nor to presume anything. Your comfortable world has passed forever. If you want to survive this episode of history you had better get up to speed because those who do not will perish most unpleasantly.

Maintaining your fluid intake is essential, so I won't begrudge my betters their indulgences. It would be good if Rupert was indeed a player in his own right rather than just a miserable lackey like Bzrezinski, but ultimately you never really know. Bluff, double bluff and double bluff cubed is the least of it in that game.

The loss of my comfortable world has long been obvious, perhaps since I first realised that the old Eyes Wide Shut cult had lost ground to something worse: an upstart Longhouse New Age voodoo-lite outfit whose orgies honour Cthulhu in a suitably inclusive and progressive fashion. Call me old fashioned, but I like my synarchy as old fashioned as possible. I prefer my sociopathic masters to have manners and style...it is demoralising to be tormented and exploited by people who think that Burning Man is edgy or that a shark in a tank in formaldehyde is art. O tempora, o mores!

Tony:

I had to laugh at your first sentence. I thought the same thing and just forwarded this article to my friends with the subject heading "Saying the Quiet Part Out Loud." As short as this post is, it hits every major point regarding the sham that is "liberal democracy" in general, and American politics in particular. I also noted your artful use of 1946 as the start of the duopoly since that was the year the CIA got started from the remnants of the OSS and various other intelligence related activities.

I've tried for a decade to educate my friends and family about what's really going on in the world, with mixed results. Most agree with me but don't know what to do about it. A couple think I'm nuts and have basically ghosted me. My daughter and her husband are in that category. Both of them are addicted to social meda, gaming, and streaming movies. They get what I'm saying but it doesn't matter to them. "Prepare for the future? Why bother? It's hopeless. Ooh. Gotta go. My show is on." They're in their mid-30s and you would think they'd be more responsible at that age. Nope. And many of her age cohort are the same way.

Like you and many others say, "No one is coming to save us."

Rara... My blood family have given me up as stupid, "off with the fairies", or plain embarassingly nuts. Oddly, my brothers, who once suspected something similar, are now totally supportive, including one sister-in-law, a former nurse. That is typical of these times.

In 1964, I realised everything I believed was a lie and so I decided to devote ten years to finding out who is running the world. Ten became almost sixty, but all my questions were answered and now I have commenced implementating my plan to defeat the bastards.

I will hit them on several fronts simultaneously. To maintain the element of surprise, I can not elaborate but if strange things start happening in Australia that just do not make sense, a good guess will point to my activities. Meanwhile, rubbish anybody who is talking non-violent peaceful protest. If you recall, Hollywood was happy to promote these reactions, for the simple reason the people who run Hollywood are the same people who run the City of London, Baslle Switzerland, and Wall Street. How about that?

Gandhi was a cultivated farud and King was manipulated and both, of course, assassinated to create martyrdom, and pacificism a religion.

McConnell and company perpetrated that goddam Covid-19 fraud against us too, still carrying water for Phizer.

It's not just fraud either. Messaging in the midterms sounded like they were running against Jimmy Carter. Crime! Inflation! Immigration! Never mind institutions at every level have been taken over by woke gender and race authoritarianism, which is tied to the gloablists and their depopulation ideology. They are mutilating and sterilizing children, and we want too act like it is 1980? Conservatives need to mount a counter-revolution, not pine for the first Reagan Admin.

As the Democrats ensconce themselves via 'fortified' elections and blatant ballot fraud, the Republicans are becoming useless as a controlled opposition. The pretence of political competition is simply unsupportable.

The fundamental purpose of the 'right' is to misdirect loyalties, energies and attention of its followers for the benefit of the regime and to frustrate the efforts of anyone who wishes to resist social engineering. People are waking up to this...about time, but better late than never.

I increasingly think that politics is pointless. The focus of our energies should be to create, sustain and protect organic communities wherever this is possible. Family and community life (and the material conditions necessary for these) are incomparably more important than winning the election of figureheads to impotent positions within the system maintained by the regime. The grey and black economies, small business and genuinely independent elements of an alternative civil society will play a more substantial role in preserving the people than the Republicans. Building sufficient cohesion and cooperation for the grassroots to push back against specific threats is more important than sustaining a token form of 'representation' such as the Republican party.

Chesterton,

The whole modern world has divided itself into Conservatives and Progressives. The business of Progressives is to go on making mistakes. The business of Conservatives is to prevent mistakes from being corrected. Even when the revolutionist might himself repent of his revolution, the traditionalist is already defending it as part of his tradition. Thus we have two great types — the advanced person who rushes us into ruin, and the retrospective person who admires the ruins. He admires them especially by moonlight, not to say moonshine. Each new blunder of the progressive or prig becomes instantly a legend of immemorial antiquity for the snob. This is called the balance, or mutual check, in our Constitution. I am here for a few reasons. First, I was permanently banned from Twitter for telling Keith Olbermann, who apparently is having complications after his hysterectomy, to go drink himself into a coma. So, I saw Charles Haywood retweet this article. New subscriber and, more importantly, supporter. Second, I had been listening to other podcasts saying that 'all we need to do is point to the Dems and show how crazy they are, they people will see and vote their way out'. Third, No more voting except on the local level. I am tired of watching and sitting by as my country is destroyed. It started long before I got here and there is nothing I can do about it at the national level except watch toothless politicians wilt when they are told they are racistsexistbigotshomophobes, etc. and just do what they are told by everyone except their constituents. I am tired of it. Tired of the lying, the gaslighting, manipulating and the deliberate destruction of Western values/Culture as those doing it, with the backing of armed white police and military, fold their arms, look smugly at you and say: 'What are you going to do about it?'.

So, here I am. The comments here are inspiring, too, because they provide solutions that are within our grasp. If you live in the country, as I do, you can have your own well or collect rainwater for irrigation and drinking. You can grow some of your own food, support people with farms and ranches to sell more and more locally to stabilize their businesses and make them resilient to large scale price fluctuations and global markets. Elect your friends.....all of them.......to the city council and county commissioner's offices to make your town and county the way YOU want it. Elect Sheriffs that patrol their own borders and chase out federal filth......then dare them to do something about it. I could go on and on. I am done......DONE......with the Ben Shapiro types who track every election. We are going back to some semblance of a decentralized Feudal System. Get ready for it now or later. The sooner the better.
