Gun Control is a War on Heritage America

It's about reducing you to second-class citizenship (or worse)

If there’s one issue that is sure to get normiecons revved up, it’s gun control. And generally speaking, they are right to oppose it and their instincts regarding civilian disarmament and the dangers to the people that are involved with it are spot on. I do think, however, that their understanding of what drives the push for gun control is still a bit deficient and will require normiecons to accept some things they won’t want to accept if they’re to fully grasp what is going on.

The problem lies in that we have generations of conservatives who grew up in a post-Civil Rights Act America, one in which it has become increasingly radioactive to even talk about issues of race in any way other than completely in line with the Regime’s prevailing ideology. Any criticism is invariably met with that worst of slurs, that life-destroying six-letter hard “R” word - Racism. At the same time, they’ve been fed the fiction that America is a propositional nation which anyone can join if they take a test and get a piece of paper - indeed, that these folks are better Americans than those whose ancestors have been here for centuries because they CAME FOR FREEDOM (well, more probably, gibmedats and preferential treatment).

Of course, all of this is just a long game for ethnically replacing America’s and Europe’s heritage, founding stocks and replacing them with pliable “citizens of the world” who can be moved around like checkers on a board. If you’re a normiecon, you’ve probably heard that “The Great Replacement” is just a conspiracy theory. So even though Western countries have been flooded with tens of millions of “refugees” for decades, even though “refugees” now routinely receive a de facto right to commit all manner of crimes against the natives (Rotherham, anyone?), even though London itself is now more or less owned by immigrants and has dispossessed actual Englishmen, this is all just a fantastical fever dream of the fringe racist Right. Meanwhile in America, heritage Americans find themselves constantly harangued as “racists” and dispossessed from their own institutions by progressive Lefties using blacks as legal proxies in intraelite competition. You may not want to talk about race, but race most definitely wants to talk about you.

“Wait a second, Theo,” you might be thinking, “I thought you were talking about gun control? What’s all this stuff about race and immigration??” Well, let me make the connexion. See, at some point no matter how much mau-mauing the powers that be do to the natives, normies are going to start cluing in to what is going on. They’re going to get tired of being told that they’re the source of all the world’s problems simply because they’re White. They’re going to see PoCs (immigrant or not) receive all kinds of preferential legal and social treatment and get suspicious. If it goes on long enough and becomes too egregious, a good chunk might start wanting to do something about it. And if (as is happening in our countries right now) all options for legal recourses through courts and elections are systematically taken away, a certain percentage of those may decide to seek “extralegal” redress. Diversity, after all, creates social destabilisation.

And understand that all of this is the result of factional machinations from the progressive Left. If the natives won’t vote for you, then import a brand new set of voters to eventually overwhelm them. If you want to increase your political power, then gin up aggrieved groups to support your faction and undermine the prevailing set up. Why do elections (setting aside vote fraud, of course) continue to swing towards leftist parties? It’s not because the Left is suddenly making a better case for itself, but because it’s been gaming the demographic landscape for several decades and this is now bearing fruit in millions of captive voters who owe clientship to these parties.

This is where these two issues intersect. Remember above how I said that systematic, ongoing abuse of our heritage populations and a refusal to give them any redress (what you might call a long train of abuses and usurpations pursuing invariably the same object…) might result in “extralegal measures” being taken? The Regime, obviously, does not want you to be able to do that. They want you powerless, living in the pod and eating the bugs while they systematically give your heritage away to the highest bidders.

And power is what is at stake. Armed people have power, at least if they are willing to use it. Disarmed people do not. And the Regime knows that a bunch of armed, Red state chuds could be a very potent force if they all got on the same page at the same time. “Nyahhh! The Army would crush ‘em! How’re you gonna fight against tanks and jets??” Allow me to pause for a moment to chuckle in Pashtun. The fact of the matter is that the American heartland would actually be the absolute worst place for the US military to try to fight a broadbased insurgency should one ever occur. Overseas in Iraqistan they could hide in green zones and drop bombs on people in discretely separated locations from themselves. In the USA they’d have to try to occupy a massive, hostile hinterland with all kinds of difficult terrains, with a populace they can’t trust to not give intel and weapons to insurgents, and a massive armed citizenry, much of which has military and tactical firearms training. They couldn’t even bomb freely because it’d be their own infrastructure they’d be destroying. No, if the Regime didn’t fear provoking an armed insurgency, they’d already be trying to go door to door to take your guns. But they know better.

So it’s better to go a piece at a time - a “common sense” law here, a response to some horrible tragedy there, until they get some real action going on their agenda. But of course, the stated reasons for these laws are false and the application to target vs. non-target populations will be…uneven. And guess who the target population will be? There’s a reason, after all, why gun control “safety” arguments always seem to revolve around taking rifles away from rural and suburban Red state chuds who have very low crime rates instead of getting pistols out of the hands of urbanised, PoC career criminals who have very high crime rates. It’s not really about crime.

Or, well, “crime” as the average rational person would define it. If by “crime” you mean being a Rightish-leaning straight White Heritage-American who doesn’t want your stuff taken away from you to be redistributed to the Left’s coalition of clients, well, I’ve got some bad news for you. The Left absolutely wants to destroy you. They are perfectly willing to use racial minorities and immigrants to neuter your response (“please don’t call me racist!” the boomer cries as he cringes into the fetal position). And they are seeking to disarm you so the job can be finished.

“Why do you need weapons of war with thirty round magazines to hunt deer anywise???”

We don’t. We need them to protect ourselves from people like you.

Sorry folks, but the “good ol’ days” of civic comity where people of differing viewpoints could “compete in the marketplace of ideas” and have a jolly good time debating each other rationally are long gone (indeed, if they ever even really existed). The Left thinks it finally sees total power coming within its grasp and they’re not shy about telling us what they’re going to do with it. And if gun ownership gets in the way of it, they literally go crazy,

That’s a bold strategy, Cotton, let’s see if it pays off.

As I pointed out a little while ago, if they can’t take your guns away, then they’ll try to create a contrived legal regimen in which it’s simply too risky to actually use your guns to defend yourselves and your families and property. Remember that in many jurisdictions, PoC criminals are now functionally agents of the state - hurt them, and you’re on the hook. The Left is increasingly trying (and in a few places succeeding) to make this apply even within the sanctity of your own home, in the same way as this applies in many places in Europe. For instance, in the UK if you harm someone who breaks into your home, you will most likely face stiff prison time. Stop a crime out in public? Expect to be hauled before a grand jury, even in Texas. Of course, this is nothing new. Solzhenitsyn made a point of noting that when the Bolsheviks were cementing their hold on Russian society, they also elevated criminals above the citizenry and used them to terrorise the populace. You, not the criminal, would go to the gulag if you harmed one of them.

What it all boils down to is that gun ownership, possession of the means to use and exert force, is directly related to real, functional citizenship. If you own a gun, you have a real share in power, even if its exercise is at present merely incipient. You are a challenge to the claims of the Regime to having a monopoly on the legitimate use of force. You represent a “decentralisation point” that counters the Regime’s effort to centralise all power into its own hands. This claim to citizenship - and the rights and duties attendant to it - are why the Regime wants to disarm Red tribe (not its clients) while empowering gangbangers and cartels and random PoC criminals (its clients). It’s a lot harder to disenfranchise and replace Heritage Americans if they get to have a say in the matter. Mao Zedong was absolutely right when he said that power flows from the barrel of a gun, which is why he disarmed the Chinese first before liquidating a few tens of millions of them.

This is why opposition to gun control - even to the point of being willing to disregard any laws that are passed - needs to be a Schelling point between normie and Dissident Righters. After all, even if you’re the normiest of normiecons, the Left still thinks you’re a fascist Nazi. As they continue to push the issue, the Regime will continue to bleed legitimacy - and we need to capitalise on that. Push for decentralisation, push for states to declare themselves Second Amendment sanctuaries, push for states to continue to challenge FedGov on every front possible. The Right - broad and of all stripes - needs to work at the local level to get organised and harden their local communities in the face of Regime legal (and perhaps other) aggressions. This especially needs to be done through traditional coordinating institutions that give cohesion to society at the demotic level. And yes, Heritage Americans need to understand that they are a tribe and need to start acting together like one. You’re never going to be able to curry favour with the progressives currently staging our American coup d’etat. Find your tribe and stick with them.
