When the Republican Party helped Lyndon Johnson pass the various civil rights actions of 1964 and 1965 he was able to ultimately gain support from the southern democrats as he assured them that the measures would provide the Democrat party unfettered access and fealty of the black population and secure their voting block for 100 years. He like most of the narcissist who have occupied the Oval Office recorded himself bragging about this victory and low and behold we see not a great emancipator but a racist politician bent on securing power for his party for the next 100 years. 60 years on it has proved fairly accurate. That said amongst people of all color, creed and so forth there is a dawning sense as the author has pointed out in this post that something is off course and needs correction. A captain who sails his ship into a typhoon isn’t doing much good for the vessel and crew. Perhaps it’s time to read the weather report and course correct. An open and brutally frank conversation among the American people might be a good start. But it will open some real heated debate. Dialog as Aristotle opined leads to deliberation and deliberation to consensus. We have had very little to no dialog on the subject in some time. It’s like Bo Radley in to Kill a Monking Bird. Hiding behind the door…once subjected to the light of the moment the fear went of Bo went away….

Amen!

Worship of the holy Negro must end.

They are simply Americans, just like all other Americans. No more special privileges, no more excuses. Act right or suffer the consequences.
